More Arrests in Rochdale Child Sex Grooming Case

This just breaking, so details are currently sparse.

Two more men, both aged 33, have been arrested in relation to the Rochdale child sex grooming case which resulted in the jailing of nine Muslim men for a total of 77 years.

It is understood that the arrests come as a result of information provided by one of the five girls who gave evidence at Liverpool Crown Court.

"Two men have been arrested in connection with an ongoing investigation into child sexual exploitation in Rochdale, which led to the jailing of nine men. Both men, aged 33, from the Rochdale area were arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and rape. They have now been released on bail pending further inquiries" said a spokesman for Greater Manchester Police.

How on earth someone can get bail pending further inquiries when suspected of rape and sexual assault in such an horrific and high profile case will astound many.

Nine men - Mohammed Amin, Abdul Qayyum, Hamid Safi, Adil Khan, Mohammed Sajid, Abdul Rauf, Abdul Aziz, Kabeer Hussain, and an un-named (yet) 59 year old received a total of 77 years in prison after appearing in court earlier this month charged with raping and abusing young white girls over the space of years.

Nine more men, currently described as "Asian and African-Caribbean" background remain on bail in another Rochdale case relating to allegations of sexual activity with a child from 2005 onwards.

Heaven help the children of Rochdale, there is seemingly a nightmare in their midst hellbent on destroying their innocence. How many more victims will it take before officialdom drops the "not a problem, just a minority" rhetoric and tells us the truth?
